Russia’s NLMK plans to raise steel production in July–September
MOSCOW, Jul 31 (PRIME) -- Russian steelmaker Novolipetsk Steel (NLMK) plans to raise production in July–September as compared with April–June, the company said in a presentation released on Tuesday.
Operating results of Russian facilities of NLMK are traditionally strong in July–September, which should improve financial results of the company, NLMK said.
The company’s steel production rose 1% on the quarter to 4.381 million tonnes in April–June, with loading of capacities of the company raising to 99% from 98%.
